The idea here is that you get some wieners or marshmallows and roast them over your stove top element on a stick. It could be just like roasting marshmallows over an open fire but it will probably be a little more sad. Imagine: it's a cold rainy night and a small group of friend huddle together to drink hot cocoa and roast some snacks over a red hot element. It's so cozy. You could tell scary stories, someone could bring a guitar, and you'll likely be right close to the fridge so maybe you can have some cold beers in there too. It's perfect.

My friend and I attempted this but found out we didn't have any wieners or marshmallows so we used some "summer sausage" bologna. We also didn't have any sticks and it was raining out so we opted to use a small pair of tongs instead. It was a riot. We laughed as we recalled stories from our youth. After a few minutes we got to enjoy a toasty warm sweaty piece of bologna.

Stove top elements are hot. Don't touch them! Duh.
